Man arrested on suspicion of murder after body found

Detectives from the Hampshire Major Investigation Team are investigating the suspicious death of a woman in Southampton. It follows the discovery of the body of a woman thought to be in her late teens or twenties at an address in Millbrook Road East on the evening of Friday 13th June.

Officers have arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of murder. They are conducting house-to-house enquiries. The force is keen to hear from anyone with information about anything suspicious in the Millbrook Road East area in the past few days. Witnesses can contact the police by telephoning 101.
