Bournemouth cliff collapse caused by heavy rain

The winter storms has caused 60ft of cliff face to collapse on Bournemouth beach. The debris blocked the promenade and emergency crews used heatseeking cameras to make sure no-one was trapped.

A cordon is in place after a landslip between Bournemouth and Boscombe. Part of the cliffs fell away late last night, but nobody was hurt. The coastguard says it happened in a matter of seconds.
