Flood warning as water levels may peak on River Thames
Environment Agency, Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council combine efforts to defend homes and businesses against the rising flood water.
Thousands of sandbags still being distributed in Oxford
Thousands of sandbags have been distributed in Oxford, and they are still in high demand.
Around 9500 sandbags have already been given out. Over a thousand bags are still in stock, with plenty of sand to fill them with.
They are available to collect at:
- Redbridge and Seacourt Park and Ride
- Duke of Monmouth public house in Abingdon Road
- PC World on Botley Road
