A British Transport Police spokesman said:
BTP officers were to the line close to Sandy Lane, Yarnton, following a report that a vehicle had been hit by a train.
The incident was reported to BTP at 4.40pm.
Officers are currently on their way to the scene to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
