Car fire closes M25
Four lanes of the M25 are closed due to a caravan fire.
Anticlockwise is closed, with queueing traffic between J8 A217 (Reigate) and J7 M23, congestion to J9 A243 / A244 / B2430 (Leatherhead).
M25 reopens but long delays remain
The M25 anti-clockwise in Surrey has now re-opened between J8 and J7 following an earlier vehicle fire.
However, long delays remain in the area. Queuing traffic is back towards J11. Road users advised to consider alternative routes or to delay their journey until road conditions improve.
