A man who was given a life sentence for killing his ex-girlfriend, tried to get his murder conviction overturned today.

A killer who murdered his girlfriend has had his appeal against conviction dismissed.
Seventeen-year-old Emily Longley was found dead at Elliot Turner's family home in Bournemouth. Turner was found guilty of her murder last May.
Three judges at the Court of Appeal have just dismissed his application.
