Three men charged with squatting will appear at court this morning.
Dirk Duputell, 29, Alistair Cannell, 22 and Tobias Sedwick, 22 all of no fixed address and unemployed, have been charged with squatting in a residential building, abstracting electricity and obstructing a police officer.
They were arrested at a building in London Road, Brighton, last night, in what is believed to be the first raid of its kind since new anti-squatting laws came into force at the weekend.
They will appear at Brighton Magistrates this morning.
