Campers are leaving the Isle of Wight Festival after a weekend of music and mud. Extra police and 4 by 4s have been drafted in to help people leave the site. But the row continues after festival-goers faced traffic chaos when they arrived last week.
Tractors had to pull 4x4 rescue vehicles out of the mud as festival-goers gear up to leave the Isle of Wight. About a hundred 4x4 have been sent along with 50 extra police officers to help thousands leave the island today. But despite the mud and traffic, fans said they enjoyed the festival.
The Isle of Wight Festival has come to a close, and its organisers say lessons will be learned after bad weather caused chaos for revellers.
