Music fans leave festival island

Campers are leaving the Isle of Wight Festival after a weekend of music and mud. Extra police and 4 by 4s have been drafted in to help people leave the site. But the row continues after festival-goers faced traffic chaos when they arrived last week.

No major delays have been reported so far as festival-goers leave the Isle of Wight today. Extra police officers and ferry services have been drafted in to help tens of thousands of music fans leave the island. Tractors and 4x4 vehicles have also been brought in to help cars out of the mud.
