Jury retires to consider verdict in trial of mother accused of murdering her daughter
A jury has retired to consider it's verdict in the trial of a mother accused of murdering her 3 year old daughter at their home in East Sussex eight years ago.
Lesley Dunford denies killing her daughter Lucy at the home in Camber near Rye in February 2004.
The 33 year old now lives in Devon.
The child was found with bruising around her neck and shoulders.
The jury at Lewes Crown court has been sent home for the night and will resume their deliberations tomorrow morning.
