A train accident in Berkshire - at the scene of an unmanned level crossing - has left one person dead.
It happened at Ufton Nervet, near Reading, when a scooter rider was hit by a train earlier today. There have been calls to make the crossing safer, with signal operated barriers.
In 2004, seven people were killed when a train de-railed, after hitting a car that had parked on the tracks. From the scene, Nicola Hendy sends this.
