Firefighters are advising local residents to keep their windows and doors shut after a fire at western docks in Southampton.

Firefighters tackle blaze at Southampton docks
Firefighters have been dealing with a large scrap metal fire at Southampton docks.
The fire has been ongoing for five hours with around 40 firefighters tackling it. Plumes of smoke can be seen across the city.
Crews are now expected to remain on the scene through the day and overnight.
