A pod of dolphins has surrounded Brighton Pier. Joe Fry from Lagoon Watersports in Brighton Marina was joined by the enthusiastic visitors. Joe says the dolphins were up to two and a half metres long.

"We first spotted the dolphins between Brighton Marina and Brighton Pier when they continued to swim with us, playing in the wake of our boat and swimming just off of our bow. Heading west towards Shoreham, we eventually parted from the pod of dolphins after approximately 35 minutes.

"It was exactly this time in August last year and again in 2015 that we encountered dolphins passing the Brighton coast."
