Two murder arrests after man's body found in car park stairwell

Officers have arrested two men on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in a public car park in Tunbridge Wells.

The body of the victim, a man aged in his twenties, was found in a stairwell on the first floor of the Torrington Road car park during the early hours of Tuesday 7th March.

Officers have arrested a 34-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both from Tunbridge Wells, on suspicion of murder.

The victim’s next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to take place on Thursday 9 March, 2017.

Fire crews discover man's body in car park stairwell

Kent police are investigating after the body of a man was found by firefighters in Tunbridge Wells.

The discovery was made in the first floor stairwell of Torrington car park on Vale Road. Investigators are at the scene.

The name of the dead man has not yet been released. Kent Police say they're currently treating his death as "unexplained".
