Body found in search for man missing from Kent

Police searching for a man missing from Kent say they have found a body. At around 4pm on 5th July, a body of a man was found close to woodland in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The body has not been formally identified, but the family members of a man reported missing from the Northampton area on 3rd July, who was last seen in the Snodland area have been informed.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious.

Kent Police is appealing for information about the whereabouts of 28-year-old Jonathan Stickland.

Jonathan recently travelled down from his home in Northampton and it is believed he was staying at an address in the Snodland area.

He was reported missing by his family on 2 July, following growing concerns for his welfare. Jonathan is described is described as white, of slim build with short mousey coloured hair and stubble. He may be travelling in a rented car, which is described as a yellow Fiat 500.

Anyone who has seen Jonathan or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on 101 quoting reference 02-1441.
