Thousands of cyclists take over Southampton's streets
10,000 cyclists took over the streets of Southampton today for a traffic-free bike ride. For one day only they had the roads to themselves, as traffic was diverted especially for the event.
Sarah Cooper was there and spoke to Olympic gold medallist Jason Queally and local fundraiser Gus McKechnie.

Thousands of cyclists took over the streets of Southampton today for a traffic-free bike ride. Traffic was diverted especially for the event.
They set off from the Guildhall on a 7.8 kilometre route around the city. They had the roads to themselves as Cyclists from the age of six to seventy took part.
