A woman from Kent has said an alternative treatment helped treat her ME, but it's not available on the NHS. However, it's not endorsed by the support group Action for ME. Their chief executive Sonya Chowdhury spoke to Sangeeta Bhabra about the issues around treatment.

From a wheelchair to walking in just a few months. ME is an often debilitating condition causing extreme exhaustion, painful muscles and joints and even, in the case of one woman from Kent - paralysis.
Now, as she starts to walk again Amanda Crouch from Chatham wants to raise awareness of an alternative therapy that she says, has given her hope. And she'd like to see the treatment available on the NHS, even though it is not supported by clinical trials. Watch Sarah Saunders's report.
