Police have officially named the third person to die in the Hindhead coach crash in Surrey last week.

Twenty-three-year-old Kerry Lynne Ogden from Maghull in Liverpool, died along with another passenger, musician Michael Molloy, 18, also from Liverpool, and the coach driver 63-year-old Colin Daulby, from Warrington.

The 52-seater coach was taking music fans who had been at the Bestival Festival on the Isle of Wight back home to Merseyside. The coach left the carriageway on the A3 and hit an oak tree

Tributes to third victim of Surrey coach crash

The family of the third person to have died after a coach crashed in Surrey, on its way back from a music festival, have described her as a 'wonderful and inspirational' person.

Ten people remain in hospital, one with life-changing injuries, after the accident involving the coach, which was returning to Merseyside from the Bestival event on the Isle of Wight. The coach left the A3 on a bend near the Hindhead Tunnel.

Driver Colin Daulby, 63, and two passengers lost their lives. Michael Molloy, 18, from Liverpool, was killed. The other victim has been named as Kerry Odgen, 23, from Maghull on Merseyside. Her family said she was 'wonderful and kind' and a big inspiration to her 21-year-old sister, Kirsty.

The family of one of the passengers who died in the A3 coach crash has paid tribute to him.

Michael Molloy who was 18, was killed in the collision on Monday night.

Two other people on board also received fatal injuries.

In a statement his family said: “Michael was a talented musician who had a promising career ahead of him.

"He was a beautiful son and a beautiful person, both inside and out, the kindest and sincerest heart we’ve ever known.

“We never imagined we would lose the most perfect son and brother. We are totally devastated.”

Police name two coach crash victims

Police have named two of the people killed in a coach crash on the A3 in Surrey.

The coach driver who died has been named as 63-year-old Colin Daulby from Merseyside.

An 18-year-old passenger who died has been named as Michael Molloy from the Liverpool area of Merseyside.

A third victim who died has yet to be formally identified. The deaths have now been referred to the coroner.

An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances of the crash which happened when a 52 seater coach was travelling north near Thursley and collided with a tree.

A number of casualties were taken to hospitals across the South-east and eleven people remain in hospital.

13 people still in hospital after fatal coach crash

Thirteen people remain in hospital tonight following a coach crash on the A3 at Hindhead last night. Three people died in the accident including the driver of the coach, Colin Daulby.

The coach careered off the road between the Hindhead tunnel and the Thursley exit and collided with a tree on an embankment at around 11.50pm.

The A3 northbound remains closed and is likely to do so for another few hours.
