Labour leader Ed Milliband is in Southampton after the party gained control of the City.
Labour gained 11 seats leaving them with 30 of the authority's 48 seats, the Tories lost 10 councillors.

The Labour leader is to visit Southampton following a landslide victory in the local council elections. The Tories were ousted from power in the city election last night, following a bitter dispute with the local unions over council cuts. Labour now has 30 seats in comparison to the Tories 16.
