Murder investigation after body found
Officers have begun a murder investigation after a body was found in a car fire in Chilworth Drove, Southampton, in the early hours of Tuesday, April 10. Officers believe the victim was dead before the fire took hold. The body was that of a young adult male. A 36-year-old man has been arrested.
Virgin plane makes emergency landing at Gatwick
A Virgin Atlantic aircraft has made an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport. More later.

Woman dies after crash
A 49-year-old woman from Canterbury has died from her injuries after her Vauxhall Astra collided head-on with a black Audi on the A272 at Cowfold yesterday.
Gareth Gates to star in Kent panto
Singers Gareth Gates and Toyah Willcox will be the stars of this year's pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
They will be joined by Katrina Bryan, better known as Nina from the children's series Ninaand the Neurons.
Gareth Gates will play the Prince. He wasfamously the runner-up to Will Young in the UK’s first Pop Idol on ITV1 in 2002.
He has since carved out a successful career, selling millions of records, releasing threealbums and having four UK number one singles.

Death believed to have been caused by horse
A woman is believed to have been killed by a stallion in a field in Kent. The 53 year old's body was found at about 10am on Friday in Darenth Wood Road in Dartford. Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the horse has not been put down.
