Owner of iconic Chevrolet left heartbroken after truck stolen from Hampshire home
The owner of a classic Chevrolet has been left devastated after his truck was stolen from his driveway.
Terry Dean says the vehicle was taken at around 8pm last Thursday (9 January) from his home in Bishopstoke, Hampshire.
The vehicle was last seen being towed down Alllington Lane towards Southampton.
The 'iconic' American pickup is thought to be the only one of its kind in the country. Mr Dean had spent years restoring it and enjoyed taking it to car shows.
Terry says his grandchildren are heartbroken by the theft
He said: "The heartache that it has caused my grandchildren, [including] a nine-year-old boy who loves to go to school in this truck now and again.
"I've even used it to go to shows for disabled kids - it's just ruined it."
"I don't think it's fair that anybody should be able to just go up someone's driveway and just take a vehicle, whether it's old or new."
Mr Dean is appealing for the safe return of his vehicle.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Hampshire Police, using the crime reference number 44250012686.
