Man charged in connection with murder in Reading

A man has been charged with murder in connection with a man's death in Reading.

Officers were called to a property on Maldon Close by South Central Ambulance Service at 11.37pm on Thursday (2/1).

A man in his forties was found with serious stab wounds. He died at the scene.

Brett Mann, aged 49, of Maldon Close, Reading, was charged with one count of murder on Sunday (5/1).

Mann was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday (6/1).
