Two people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after man stabbed in Bicester Shopping Park
Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Bicester Shopping Park on Sunday (December 29).
An 18-year-old man from Bicester has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 30-year-old man from Bicester has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
They both remain in custody at this time.
The arrests follow an incident that happened just after 5.05pm on Sunday in Bicester Shopping Park, Pioneer Way, near to the Pure Gym.
A man was stabbed at the scene. He is in a serious but stable condition and remains in hospital.
Detective Inspector George Atkinson, from CID, said: “We have made two arrests in connection with this incident but we continue to appeal for witnesses.
“We still believe that there is no wider risk to the local community but appreciate the concern that it may cause.
