Footage appeal after man dies in Christmas Eve collision near Maidstone

Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a man died in a collision on Christmas Eve near Maidstone.

Kent Police say the incident happened just before 2:30pm on Tonbridge Road, close to The Bull Inn, in Barming.

A white Honda 125cc motorbike travelling in the direction of Wateringbury collided with a lamppost.

A man in his 40s was flown to a London hospital but later died as a result of his injuries.

The force says the man's next of kin has been told.

Drivers with dashcam and people living nearby with private CCTV are being asked to check for footage, which can be uploaded here.
