A mum and dad have described their daughter who was born on Christmas Day as "the best present we could get".
Five babies were born in Hampshire hospitals on Christmas Day including baby Bryony who was the first to arrive shortly after 2am.
She weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces or just over 3.5 kilos.
Her mum said: "It feels pretty special to have a baby at all to be honest.
"She's our first one but obviously she's the best present we could get."
Her dad added: “It's been really nice to have our first child born on Christmas, it's going to make Christmas Day a little bit more special every year I think.
"The staff have been amazing as well.”
In Basingstoke, staff dressed up as elves and Santa for Christmas.
Midwife, Gemma Hill, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "We try and make it as special as we can.
"Obviously working over Christmas it's not the normal nine til five so we try and make it special so we put some decorations up, make it feel a little bit festive."
