Boy, 12, arrested after teenage girl stabbed in Sittingbourne
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenage girl was stabbed in Kent.
It follows reports of an assault on Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne.
Police officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service
A teenage girl was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound.
Police were called at around 3.55pm on Friday 23 March 2024 following reports of an attack.
A 12-year-old boy is in police custody on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
An investigation is ongoing.
Officers are urging anyone with information about the incident, including those with CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
