Missing toddler from Hampshire found in pond in serious condition

A two year old girl is in a serious condition after she was found in a pond.

The toddler was reported missing yesterday afternoon and was later found in the water, at a pond near to her home.

Hampshire Police were called at 5.02pm yesterday to a report of a two-year-old girl missing from her home in Kingsley, Bordon.

The child was later found nearby in Kingsley Pond.

An investigation is ongoing, a force spokesman said.

He said: "We were called to a report of a two-year-old girl missing from her home in Forge Road, Kingsley, Bordon.

"The child was found nearby in Kingsley Pond and has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.

"Officers are making inquiries in the area to investigate the circumstances around this incident."
