Rail services suspended due to signal failure at Chandler's Ford
Rail services between Eastleigh and Romsey were delayed during Monday's rush hour following a signal problem.
South Western Railway was forced to suspend its services via Chandler's Ford.
Tickets were being accepted on local bus routes including Bluestar 4 between Southampton and Romsey, Bluestar 5 between Eastleigh and Romsey and Xelabus X4A between Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford.
In a post on social media, South Western Railway said: "Trains are now running normally following a signalling problem between Eastleigh and Romsey and there should be no further delays to your journey."If you were delayed by 15 minutes or more, you may be entitled to claim compensation."
