M25 traffic: Emergency repairs reportedly close left hand Dartford Tunnel

Traffic is queueing on the M25 this morning due to a reported closure of the left hand Dartford Tunnel.

Traffic Monitoring Service, Inrix, reported that the tunnel has been closed to drivers and all vehicles are being diverted via the right hand tunnel.

Inrix says this is due to emergency repairs.

Traffic England, run by National Highways, reports delays of up to 20 minutes on approach to the crossing.

Traffic is stationary for several miles, with queues back to Junction 3 for the M20/A20.

TomTom reports delays of 39 minutes between Junction 3 and the crossing.

ITV Meridian has contacted National Highways for comment.
