'Lucky' escape for passengers after car crashes into tree in Oxfordshire

Passengers have made a "lucky" escape after a car crashed into a tree in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police officers were called to a single vehicle crash near Hornton yesterday (Sunday 19 March).

The force tweeted: "Occupants lucky to have not sustained more serious injuries as result of colliding with a large tree."

It added that the vehicle was "suspected to be uninsured".

Police are carrying out enquiries.
