Stretch of A404 in Maidenhead reopens following serious crash

A major road in Berkshire has reopened following a serious crash.

Police closed a section of the A404 in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on Friday morning.

The road was shut northbound between the A404 J9B for Maidenhead and the A4130 for Hurley.

Thames Valley Police asked drivers to avoid the area while officers were at the scene.

A National Highways spokesperson said there are no reported delays or congestion and thanked drivers for their patience.
