Thousands of drivers in Brighton angry at being fined for driving through new bus gates

Thousands of drivers in Brighton have been fined in just one month alone for driving through new bus gates.
With more than 300 drivers a day being affected, now there are calls for warning signs to be made clearer.
Last year, the road, close to the seafront, was effectively shut to all traffic except buses and taxis.
One conservative councillor says the scheme uses motorists as 'cash cows':
Brighton & Hove City council says the measures are not about making money and the number of people being caught out by these cameras is falling.
They say they are about keeping traffic flowing and improving the environment as well as making it possible for people to travel easily by bus, car or bike.
