Driver in hospital as lorry overturns on major road
A lorry driver is in hospital after their vehicle overturned on a major road near Winchester.
It happened along the A272 near Cheesefoot Head just after 8am on Monday, November 15.
Hampshire Police and South Central Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
The driver was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Hampshire County Council says the road is likely to remain closed until after 9am on Tuesday, November 16, to allow authorities to repair the damaged road surface.
