Sussex astronaut Tim Peake describes 'incredibly thin atmosphere' at COP26
Sussex astronaut Tim Peake has spoken of the earth's 'incredibly thin atmosphere' whilst attending COP26 in Glasgow.
The former apache pilot who lives in Chichester has been in Glasgow for the climate change conference.
He started his session in the Space4Climate zone where he answered questions from young people and talked about how space is helping to monitor and tackle climate change.
In December 2015, the 49-year-old became the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station and conduct a spacewalk during his six month mission.
