Duchess of Cornwall gets look behind the scenes of hit crime show Grace

The Duchess of Cornwall has visited the set of ITV's Grace in Sussex to meet the author behind the hit crime stories.

Camilla chatted with Peter James, whose Roy Grace books are being filmed for a second series.

The show, largely filmed around Brighton, is an adaptation of his bestselling books and stars John Simm and Richie Campbell.

The Duchess of Cornwall, who grew up in Plumpton, East Sussex features James' series among her 'Reading Room' Instagram book recommendations.

Camilla, 74, was raised in grand 18th-century country house The Laines.

She attended school at Dumbrells, in Ditchling village, until age ten, then continued in her education in London.

Meanwhile, her husband Prince Charles is due to visit COP26 in Glasgow on Wednesday.



The Prince of Wales, a longtime environmentalist, will join world leaders at the climate summit in Scotland.

Earlier this week, the Queen delivered an evening reception speech via video.

The 95-year-old monarch was unable to attend the summit on advice from her doctors following her recent short hospital stay.

World leaders are meeting to discuss plans to prevent climate disaster.

The UK is pressing for goals including a reduction of global fossil fuels consumption, and to join the government's net zero emissions strategy.
