Actor Martin Clunes and horse Bruce visit patients at hospice

Actor Martin Clunes, and his horse Bruce, have spent the day with patients at a hospice in Dorchester.

The Doc Martin and Manhunt star visited the inpatient unit at Weldmar Hospicecare on Tuesday (October 26) with his 12-year-old Clydesdale.

The actor is a regular visitor to the hospice's summer fete every September, but it has been postponed since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Those visiting the hospice for the day were able to meet Martin and Bruce close up.

Martin then visited inpatients at the hospice afterwards with his dog, Bob Jackson.
