Truth behind Lawrence of Arabia: New Dorset film explores mystery

Whether TE Lawrence - famous as Lawrence of Arabia - was assassinated is the theme of a new film which has its world premier in Poole tomorrow night.
Shot in Dorset with a mainly local cast and crew, it stars Brian Cox, Hugh Fraser, Michael Maloney and Nicole Ansari Cox with Tom Barber Duffy in the title role.
The memorial to that crash, in 1935 near Bovington, is on the road built by the American's in 1944.
Lawrence was riding his Brough Motorbike which was capable of one hundred miles per hour. He died in hospital six days later.
Lawrence: After Arabia has won Best Picture at both the Florence Film Awards and the Los Angeles Film Awards.
The film has been gifted to the charity that runs the Lighthouse and will air in tomorrow night's world premier in Poole.
The death of Lawrence is a mystery that more than 85 years later and may never be solved. It tells the compelling story of the last years of T.E. Lawrence’s life and his mysterious death following a motorcycle accident
