Ordnance Survey app 'brings to life' towns and cities
Report by ITV Meridian reporter Sally Simmonds
The Ordnance Survey is testing a new app across the South which 'brings to life' towns and cities.
Called Secret Stories, it offers self guided tours, where people can discover facts and maps while out and about.
The app is free to download. It offers a mixture of folklore, history and myths as you follow the route.

The app was developed after the organisation realised the number of people exploring their neighbourhood had risen during lockdown, and wanted to encourage more people to experience the outdoors.
It is currently being trialled in the south, with the hope of being rolled out nationwide.
