The skills shortage in industry is beginning to have an impact on the production of luxury yachts in Poole.
Sunseeker says there is, in particular, a lack of qualified carpenters and electricians - and the problem is now causing disruption at the factory, as the firm deals with book.
It takes an average of nine months to build a boat - from making the glass reinforced laminate hull, to the launch. Many workers are on overtime to fulfil orders.
To tackle the lack of qualified workers long term, Sunseeker has this year increased the size of its intake of apprentices from forty to fifty.
But it really needs more skilled craftsmen and women in the short term.
Sunseeker employs about 1200 people and expects to build 120 boats this year. Prices range from £500,000 to £27 million pounds. Most are sold abroad.
