Brighton and Hove becomes first city to install PPE recycle bins
Report by ITV News Meridian's Tom Savvides
A new scheme has been introduced in Brighton and Hove to recycle unwanted face masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
Special bins have been installed to reduce the amount of PPE litter, which is used to make more bins and other plastic items.
The scheme is the first of its kind in the country.

The bins also include hand sanitiser stations in areas around the city centre.
PPE litter is of particular concern for seaside towns and cities as the plastic can end up in the sea and harm marine life.
