A mural has been revealed at Reading FC to celebrate its 150th anniversary.

The artwork was erected at the clubs stadium and depicts Reading fans cheering.

It will be split in two locations, with the first section featuring former Royals manager Brian McDermott.

It took artist Chris Rutterford nine months to complete.

Among those to feature on the mural are brothers James and Andrew Hunt, who lost their grandfather to covid last year.

The second section, featuring Steve Coppell, who guided Reading to their first ever stint in the Premier League, is due to be finished by the end of the season.
