Appeal to find young dog who had never left the house a forever home
The RSPCA is appealing for help to find a new home for a young dog who had never been outside before being rescued.
It is thought one-year-old Springer Spaniel cross Lancelot had never left the house before being taken in by the charity in June. He was rescued alongside 15 other dogs.
He is currently being cared for at the Mount Noddy Animal Centre in Chichester.
Manager Susan Botherway said: "Lancelot has lived a very sheltered life and we don't believe he'd ever been taken out of the house before he arrived in RSPCA care.
"Understandably, he is nervous of new people and situations and we are struggling to find him the right home."
The RSPCA says Lance would need an adult-only home where his owners can embark on training classes and make the most of his bright nature.
He'd prefer not to live with a cat and will need to learn to be left home alone.
