The 'show will go on' despite weather disrupting first day of Wickham Festival

ITV News Meridian's Christine Alsford reports from the event
There have been last-minute changes to events at the Wickham Festival in Hampshire due to the weather.
The organisers have had to move artists and equipment from the main stage to other stages at the site after the ground became boggy following heavy rain.
The four day event has returned after being cancelled two years in a row due to the pandemic.
Artists such as Van Morrison and Toyah will grace the stages across the weekend.
The festival organiser, Peter Chegwyn, said: "We've spent a whole year getting the festival on against all the odds with Covid and everything and then we get the great British summer. As a result the show will go on. We've thankfully got contingencies in place.
"It's annoying, it's so frustrating when we've spent so long getting the festival planned but tonight we will have all the music undercover which will mean everyone stays dry."
Oxfordshire's Wilderness Festival also began on Thursday at Cornbury Park for the first time in two years because of the pandemic.
