Southampton FC launch new eco-friendly away kit

Southampton Football club have unveiled a new environmentally friendly away kit which is made from recycled plastic bottles.
The club says it is part of their commitment to do their bit to help save the planet.
As part of the kit's launch, players past and present went to Calshot beach today to help collect litter.

Saints Women kick off their new season next weekend. Defender Shelly Provan is happy with the new kit.
Players from the past were also at the beach to lend a hand, and have added their support to the club doing more to help the environment.

The team members were joined today by volunteers from the Final Straw Foundation. It has welcomed the introduction of the new recycled away kit.

The new kit will be worn for the first time this evening - when Southampton host Levante in a Pre-season game.
