The body of a man who went missing off the coast of Poole has been found.

Callum Baker-Osborne was unaccounted for after reports of people getting in trouble in the water at Rockley Park on Monday (26/07).

It is believed the 18-year-old had gone into the water to help them just before 4pm.

Ten people were rescued and three of them were taken to hospital as a precaution.

After a multi-agency search this week, a body was recovered at Hamworthy pier in the early hours of Friday (30/07) morning.

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, Callum's family has been told.

In a tribute, his family said: "Callum Baker-Osborne, beloved son of Alan Baker and Ann Osborne. Devoted brother to seven brothers and sisters and loving uncle to twenty one nieces and nephews.

"Callum was the life and soul of the family, forever making us smile. Our selfless hero who always put everyone’s welfare above his own. Now at peace with his Dad and baby. Forever missed and always in our hearts. The family want to thank everyone for their support and messages."

Dorset Police has thanked everyone who shared the original appeal and the emergency services who helped in the search.
