Hook garden reopens to showcase it's glorious sculptures and water features
Until now, the lockdown has meant that, this year, the National Garden Scheme has been unable to open private gardens to raise millions of pounds for medical charities, at a time when they need it more than ever.
With restrictions being eased, some are opening up once more. We've . been to a garden that opened last year for the first time.
Report by ITV News Meridian's Tony Green:
At a first glance this traditional English home looks like its been here for years.
This house outside Hook is only 20 years old and its garden started from scratch by Stella Wildsmith.
It's one of the newest additions to the National Garden Scheme's yellow book, opening up for the first time last year.
Over the years the garden has evolved into different rooms. There's a garden of tranquility and spectacular views of the Hampshire countryside.
Stella Wildsmith, Garden owner:
With lockdown easing and some garden opening up again there will be more opportunities to appreciate Stella's stunning garden.
