Lockdown Diaries: The woman who's been shielding for over 100 days
For more than a million people who have been shielding at home, the lockdown eases from next week (July 6th).
Many of the frail and elderly, and those with underlying health problems, have spent almost four months indoors.
They have been sharing with us their thoughts in their own words, as they prepare to get back to a life outside.
Adetutu Ojo is at risk because of a health condition - and her ethnicity.
The 30-year-old who lives in Surrey has been shielding for the past 15 weeks as she has lupus - an auto-immune condition which can cause inflammation to the joints, skin and other organs.
Adetutu Ojo
Adetutu has spoken of her worries when lockdown was first implemented, and the number of deaths that were recorded from Covid-19.
She says she has managed her concerns by developing a routine, and exercising more.
Adetutu believes lockdown has given her more time to rest and reflect, which has been beneficial to her marriage.
She's also spent time talking to people from her lupus support group and sharing stories.
Adetutu is urging people not to take things for granted and to enjoy being outdoors and notice and appreciate things that you didn't before.
Before lockdown began Adetutu was unemployed, but she has now secured a job meaning she can start working remotely.
From Monday 6th July not much will change for Adetutu, though she will be able to see more people.
