A dog that suffered sunburns to her ears, face and pads during this week's heatwave is now being cared for by the RSPCA.
3-year-old Belle was picked up by the charity in Gravesend on Thursday - the hottest day of the year.
The Staffie cross had been wobbling when she walked due to painful blisters on her paws.
The charity has received 191 calls about animal's welfare since last Monday. It's reminding owners to protect their pets during the hot weather.
Little Belle was thin and had a skin issue, but also seemed to be wobbly when she walked.
When RSPCA officer Rosie Russon examined her, she discovered the dog had burns to her pads which had blistered and popped.
She also also had sunburn on the inside of her ears and top of her face.
Belle was signed over into the care of the RSPCA and she was taken to a nearby vet where she was given pain relief and treatment for her burns to her pads.
She's now in the care of staff at the RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre.
