The Blagrave Arms is known as a safe space for members of Reading's LGBT+ community.

The three friends were regulars at the pub and have been described as the 'loveliest' people.

James Furlong, David Wails and Joe Ritchie-Bennett were killed in a knife attack on Saturday.

Reading Pride has also paid tribute to the victims, releasing this statement below from its CEO, Martin Cooper.
