'Loud metallic bang' as sinkhole opens up on busy Reading road

A big sinkhole has opened up on a busy road in Reading.

The large crack appeared on Tuesday afternoon on the A4 Castle Hill, close to a bus stop.

Police were called to redirect traffic.

Eyewitnesses described hearing a loud 'metallic bang' as it happened.
